A cleaner closet...

I actually did it! I went through every clothing item I owned and tried it on and discarded so many! This is a pile of them displayed for all to see! I know it's kinda small but I'm so proud of myself because I am such a clothes hog! I never get rid of anything because "hey I might wear that someday!" You never know. It felt so nice when I was done and then I reorganized my room a little. I love to clean it's de-stressing to me. One of my goals was and is to get rid of things I don't need or use anymore and I did! Yay! I mean there's still tons of other crap that I need to toss but it's a start. I think it's funny how much stuff one person can have! I mean I boxed so much stuff when I had to move back home and I still have more stuff to box up! Ahh it never ends!
What's one of your goals for 2010?
I have a few more but I'll blog about it later!

2010...Yay!

So my dear friend and co-Shady Lady Wilma and I decided to go to 7 Feathers Casino for New Years, kinda a last minute decision, and it was so fun! We checked in at Le Best Western then went over to the Casino where Wilma and I got Players Cards! Fancy I know! I gambled $5 whole dollars at the penny slots and played for a good hour or so. We got tickets to a dinner and dancing extravaganza that the Casino was putting on and I'm so glad we did because it was a blast and a half! We got all fancy and when we got into the ballroom it was packed with Jennas and James'. That's what we call older people! Haha! The food was delicious and the band was so good! They played all sorts of music like Frank Sinatra, Abba, Kid Rock, The Turtles and Ray Charles. We danced pretty much all night and got to go on stage not once but twice! That's right! The second time we were on stage we got to welcome in 2010! To top off an alreads awesome evening they gave us party favors! Champagne glasses, New Years hats and noise makers. We walked around the Casino and wished everyone a Happy New Year I'm convinced we made some enemies, but we also made some friends! We went to another lounge and made friends with the table next to us. They asked if we would take a picture with them with my camera, and I'm never one to turn down pictures, so we did! I gambled another $5 and this time won $4.80 and cashed out! That's right $9.80 big money!!! I think we went to bed around 3am. Woke up the next morning, did some damage at the breakfast buffett and were recognized as "the two dancing girls" from the dinner and dancing thing. All in all it was an amazing New Years! Totes am going to do that again!!!

PTown...

My Mom and I took a long walk down Alberta Street in Portland and so I snapped some pictures of the pretty things I saw. The Joe pic is for my Sister's Best Friend Joe...shocking I know! He let us sleep at his apartment!

The cutest and quite possibly the most precious thing I've seen! A Glove Tree? I love Portland!

My Bestie Talia eats grilled cheese like everyday so when I saw this I had to take a picture for her!

Christmas 2009...

This year we drove to Portland to spend Christmas with my sister. She didn't know I was coming and I suprised her at her work! So fun! On the way there my Parentals and I stopped at Heaven on Earth! They make homemade Applebutter, pies and cinnamon rolls the size of my face! It was sooo very delicious!
Stacks of cinnamon rolls! It was one of the craziest thing I've seen!

Mmmm....Applebutter jam. I literally ate a small cup full of this with a spoon and I must say I'm a better person for it!
BrownTown Christmas Eve! One of my favorite traditions that we have is every Christmas Eve we get to open one gift and it's always pajamas. It's something I want to do when I have children. Christmas was so laid back this year, we watched movies and ate some yummy food made by my Mama. It was so fun and I was so glad I got to be with my sister! I miss her alreads!
What fun traditions do you have?

Baking...

So for a Christmas party I got this Pumpkin bread kit. It came with the cutest tin! That yes I will display because I'm like a Grandma at age 24! I decided today was the day to make it. It was so delicious! It reminded me how much I love baking and how I wish I did it more. Baking is one of those things if I had loads of money I would buy all things Food Network and bake and cook like a crazy person! Oh to dream the dream! If you want to try it they got it at Wal-Mart and it's awesome.
Merry Christmas & Happy Baking!
